ICare Alot Community is an NDIS registered provider in Melbourne known for delivering safe and quality care to individuals with disabilities. We provide a wide range of Support Services tailored to meet the needs of people with disabilities as well as carers, who also are family to us.

Assist-Life Stage Transition

At ICare ALot Community we support Ndis participants, so they are more aware of the purpose of the funded supports and more capable of participating in their communities by strengthening their connection with broader systems of supports. Assisting in the management of ongoing support and answering questions as they arise, we will help the participants understand their plan. ICare ALot Community short-term and long-term support focuses on living at home, participating in your community, and coordinating your support.

Services include:
  • Getting in touch with the support 
  • To coordinate services 
  • Concerning housing and tenancy obligations 
  • Relating to mentoring, peer support, and development of skill sets 
  • Regarding decision making, daily planning, and budgeting. 

Assist-Personal Activities

At ICare ALot Community we assist you to develop the skills needed to improve hygiene, get ready for the day, manage your life, and travel independently.

We can assist you in how to manage:
  • Showering, dressing and other personal care tasks

  • Household tasks including cleaning and cooking

  • Life skills including budgeting and meal planning

  • Travel and transport, including using public transport

Assist Travel/Transport

At ICare ALot Community assist travel transport is one kind of professional help that enables your loved one to move anywhere safely. A person with a disability often faces serious challenges when going outside. If he/she has an extreme disability, then your loved one may not even be able to use the public rides. Our support worker acts as an assistant helping the participant to move independently. Moreover, the assistant can also guide and educate a disabled person about using the rides.

Thus, a travel assistant plays the dual role – a true travel companion and a caregiver.

Daily Tasks/Shared Living

At ICare ALot Community our team possess the right practical skills as well as personal capabilities to meet the particular needs of individuals with complex care needs as well as providing friendly and comforting assistance and disability services.

Our support staff is available 24/7 to assist participants with daily tasks and everyday living.

Participants in the NDIS may be eligible for funding to get assistance with daily personal tasks to live a dignified and independent life.

Whether you are living in your own home, living in a shared accommodation arrangement or a rental property we can assist in providing a plan for you to achieve independency and living a fulfilling life.

 Development-Life Skills

At ICare ALot Community Development of daily living and life skills is a program that has been designed to encourage personal development, increase opportunities and help you blend in with the community, and enhance your independent lifestyle. Not just your medication we aim to help you secure your future and achieve your dreams. This life skill development program has been designed to make you job-ready. We promote your physical and mental well-being through this program. Together with us, you will learn new life skills that will enable you to live as independently as possible. Our care staff are fully vetted and qualified to empower you with daily development. For our Participants, we ensure that at the end of the program you can enjoy a better lifestyle.

Our Program includes:

At ICare ALot Community Social interaction and community engagement are essential parts of daily life. That’s why we believe in supporting you to connect and participate in your own community each day. We work closely with you and your support networks to identify community-based activities you are most interested in doing, goals you would like to achieve and the best way to achieve them. From there, we design community participation programs that support you to reach those goals.

Our Priority is to ensure every activity aligns with your interests and is suitable for your current social and communication skills. These activities take place in the community and may be:

  • within a group
  • one-to-one with our support care worker.

Our experienced staff are highly skilled in working with a diverse range of disabilities, including those with complex needs and are able to work with you and your loved ones to ensure all outings and activities meet your goals and needs.

Group/Centre Activities

At ICare ALot Community we assists our participants to participate in group-based community, social and recreational activities, promoting socialization while offering both worker facilitated and self-directed capacity building activities. All activities are based on the interests and goals of participants. We offer NDIS group and Centre based activities in Melbourne.

    • Life Skills development like-grocery shopping, cooking, personal care, gardening, household tasks.
    • Improved Health & Wellbeing like- health & wellbeing awareness and education, group fitness activities, walks, swimming, yoga.
    • Literacy and Numeracy like- tailored programs to suit learning ability, money handling, budgeting, reading and writing skills.
    • Recreational Activities like-owling, music, dancing, picnics, art and craft.
    • Community access like-library, music works, community events, shopping, museum, art gallery, volunteer groups.
